Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-27 · Effective October 27, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use CareerCrush. Please read them. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Who we are

CareerCrush is a dating app for career-driven adults. It is operated by Anthony Asare and Loudia Merant, two individuals in the United States. In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean them. “You” means the person using the app.

You can reach us at support@careercrush.app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old to use CareerCrush. You enter your birth date when you sign up, and you confirm it is accurate. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 21, we remove it.

You may have one account. Do not create a second account, and do not create an account for someone else.

The information in your profile must be true. That includes your name, your birth date, your photos, your industry, and everything else you tell other users about yourself. Do not post photos of other people and present them as you.

You are responsible for your account and your password. Keep the password private. Tell us if you think someone else has access to your account.

How to behave

CareerCrush only works if people feel safe. These rules are not optional.

No harassment. Do not threaten, stalk, demean, or repeatedly contact someone who does not want to hear from you. Do not send sexual content to someone who has not asked for it.

No impersonation. Do not pretend to be another person, a company, or an employee of one.

No solicitation. Do not use CareerCrush to sell things, recruit, promote a business, run a scam, ask for money, or drive people to another site or app.

No sharing other people’s private information. Do not post or forward someone’s photos, messages, address, phone number, workplace details, or anything else private without their permission.

No minors. Do not use CareerCrush if you are under 21, and never post content that sexualizes a minor. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities.

Also do not break the law on CareerCrush, do not post hateful or violent content, and do not attack, scrape, or reverse engineer the service.

Content and enforcement

You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You give us permission to store, display, and share that content inside CareerCrush so the app can do its job. That means showing your profile to other users and delivering your messages. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

We can remove any content and suspend or delete any account, at any time, if we believe it breaks these terms or puts someone at risk. We may act without warning when safety is involved. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why.

Zero tolerance. CareerCrush has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior, including everything listed under How to behave. The app also refuses messages and profile text that contain slurs, explicit sexual terms, threats, or solicitation.

Report and Block. You can report or block anyone from inside the app. In a conversation, open the menu at the top and choose Report or Block, or press and hold one of their messages to report that message. In Discover, open the menu on a profile and choose Report or Block. Reporting someone also blocks them.

We review every report within 24 hours and act on it. Action can include removing the content and banning the account that posted it.

Bans. A banned account is suspended. It can no longer sign in, and its profile and conversations are hidden from everyone. A suspended account can request deletion through support at support@careercrush.app.

Premium subscriptions

Premium has not launched yet. These terms will apply when it does.

Premium will be a paid subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Apple bills you, not us. The price and the billing period are shown before you buy.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You manage and cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings, not in CareerCrush. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you already paid for.

Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policy. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.

What we do not promise

We do not promise that you will match with anyone, that anyone will reply, or that you will meet someone. CareerCrush is a place to meet people. The rest is up to the people.

We do not run background checks on users. We do not verify that people are who they say they are. Use your judgment, meet in public, and tell someone where you are going.

The app is provided as is. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, error free, or that any content on it is accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or emotional distress arising from your use of CareerCrush.

We are not responsible for what other users say or do, on the app or off it, including anything that happens when you meet someone in person.

If we are found liable to you for any reason, our total liability is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.

Some states do not allow these limits. If yours does not, they apply to you only as far as that state allows.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you agree those courts have jurisdiction over you.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete account. We can end your access if you break these terms. The sections on liability, governing law, and content you already shared survive after your account ends.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we post the new version on this page with its effective date at the top. If you keep using CareerCrush after that date, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, delete your account.
